Adra wins ‘Best Community & Culture’ Award

The announcement saw the director Emma Crome, Menna Wakeford and the Adra cast on stage to receive the award. 

Winning the Community and Culture Award at Kendal Mountain Festival was testimony to the community behind the film, all the people and history that brought it to life, it feels like a gift to them.  

The Community and Culture Award is the perfect example of how filmmaking transcends the final output - it builds connections, amplifies voices, offers opportunities and creates a sense of common ground. Diolch o galon to everyone involved in Adra’s creation. -Emma Crome.
